BC Hosts Transfer Day for Fall 2026

Last week, the Transfer Pathways department at SA国际传媒视频 hosted their Fall 2026 Transfer Day. This annual event provides a unique opportunity for students to explore options to further their education and earn a bachelor's degree, master鈥檚 degree, and beyond.
The exciting event took place in the Renegade Event Center where more than 30 colleges and universities had information booths with representatives who were eager to provide information and hand out swag to attendees. The participating institutions included Cal State Bakersfield, UC San Diego, Grand Canyon University, San Francisco State University, UC Merced, Cal State Fullerton, and several more.
Diego Valencia is a biology major at BC and wants to get into teaching. He attended Transfer Day to get a closer look at his educational options. 鈥淢y favorite part of the event was getting all of the information,鈥� he said, 鈥淚 am a sophomore right now and I am a year away from transferring. Usually, I get my information from my own resources or a counselor, but I enjoyed actually talking to people from the schools.鈥� After BC, Diego plans to get his bachelor鈥檚 degree and earn his teaching credential.
Sydney Herrera is another BC student who attended the event. She is currently pursuing computer science and would like to earn a bachelor鈥檚 degree after she has finished at BC. She was excited to preview the opportunities to continue her education. 鈥淚 plan on going to a four-year college after BC,鈥� she said, 鈥渟o I am scoping out what I could do, requirements I need to meet, and what the schools are looking for.鈥� She was happy to have the opportunity to interact with the college representatives. 鈥淚t was really good to communicate with the spokespeople here,鈥� she said, 鈥淚t鈥檚 a lot easier to talk to someone and ask questions than Googling something 鈥� especially when I am trying to find an answer to a specific question.鈥�
Hundreds of BC students attended the event throughout the day and walked away with a variety of informational materials and a better understanding of their transfer opportunities. Thank you to the Transfer Pathways department for putting together this event and guiding our students to the next phase in their educational journey.
