The Aera STEM Student Success Center opened in fall 2016. Thanks to Aera Energy's kind donation, SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ÊÓƵ was able to renovate an old garage into a modern study and support building for our Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) program students. 

Study Space

The Center offers flexible study spaces for STEM students with mobile whiteboards, tables, and chairs. A quiet room includes LAN ports allowing students to hookup their laptop computers to print assignments.

Academic Counseling

Academic counselor offices are an integral part of the Center increasing STEM students' access to guidance on planning their education at SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ÊÓƵ, transferring to 4-year colleges and universities, and reaching the ultimate goal of a rewarding career in STEM. The Aera STEM Student Success Center is also the home to the SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ÊÓƵ MESA group. MESA provides additional support to STEM students who qualify. Check out the MESA webpages for more information about this important support group.
